GayTalk Dec 24, 2008 Christms Eve day special

Our Christmas Eve Day special was lots of fun.

It included laughs, music and a Christmas Message.

The Christmas Message transcript is below.

With Christms Eve upon us I think there are a few things worth mentioning.

I also feel these are things which should be thought about everyday, not only during holidays.

I've noticed, many times in my life when I smile at people or say hello to a stranger they will often feel offended or nervous, often resulting in no response whatsoever.

But this issue is not as apparent around the holidays.

It seems odd to me that one can say hello to a random stranger during the holidays and the response is usually positive.

However, if that same example of kindess would occur outside of a holiday time; chances the response would be negative dramatically increase.

Another example of random kindess is holding the door open for someone. If I'm going through a doorway and see someone else is soon to pass through I usually hold the door open for them.

It doesn't matter what gender they are, it's simply a polite thing to do.

Again, during the holidays I almost always get a smile or a thank you.

Let me change gears a bit here but remain in the same vien of thought.

We've all heard people use the phrase "pass on" and we've also heard those who use the term "died".

Let me be perfectly clear in this, none of us ever dies.

Our essence, the core of us, is spiritual.

The body we currently inhabit may cease to exist but our spirit lives on.

It seems through teaching, indoctrination, upbringing and an abundance of selfishness many have strayed away from their spiritual self.

Our true spiritual self is Love. Love in it's purest form.

For those who are so quick to judge or quote books claiming they KNOW something is right or wrong because a book says so; I say to you look within your spirit and learn to Love.

Books are written by man and many of them, yes even the books some claim are only the "truth" are indeed, not pure fact or totally truthful.

One primary example is the bible; people use it to judge others and condemn them while at they same time ignoring other verses which condemn their own personal actions.

This is selfish and arrogant.

For these who feel their salvation is not in question, I submit to you, that very thought puts you in a place which is not smiled upon.

I assure you there is no hell.

When we pass we all go to the other side and partake in blessings and beauty. Some will need schooling, repair or enlightenment.

But we all go to the same place.

None of us are forsaken and none of us are tossed aside as if we are yesterdays trash.

No soul or action is unforgivable.

Many have passed in need of much work and that work is provided on the other side in a loving and caring manner.

In our mere human form many of us have forgotten so much.

We have become more about the flesh and forgotten our true inner spirit.

During these holiday times our spirit tries to come through. This is why we can see the small miracles.

The small miracle of a thank you when a random stranger says hello. The small miracle of a smile or thank you when someone holds a door open for you. The small miracle of remembering a loved one who has passed on before us.

Why must the miracles stop?

Why can we not let the spirit shine year round?

Why must we become concerned with so many things which should not concern us?

When we love; our spirit shines bright and flies high.

For all of you who have been in love before; you know this feeling. In fact, many long for this feeling once they have experienced it.

This love is human based, but it is love and it does cause our spirit to soar.

Spiritual love is just as wonderful, perhaps even more so.

But, sadly, most of us carry so much human based baggage we dim our inner spirits.

So I beg of every spirit which hears my voice; and yes, that means you!

I beg of you, please show the love; shine bright and soar high throughout the year.

All year, every year and every day of the year; be Love and relentlessly show your love for your fellow human family member.

Our world is obsessed with negativity and negativity only brings more negativity.

Please, oh please, try to focus on the postive because positivity brings on more positivity.

Stop repressing the spirit with negativity.

Stop judging others.

Stop trying to impose your beleifs upon others. Even if you feel your beleifs are the truth. Even if you feel, because others also share your beleifs, they must be the truth.

Misery loves company folks.

You do not need others to direct you and doing so places you at risk. You are responsible for yourself. Placing that responsibility in the hands of another places you at great risk.

So many have pushed their spirit so far inside they can not hear it any longer, or it has become such a whisper they easily ignore it.

Much like a parent can learn to "tune out" a babies constant crying, some of us have learned to tune out our true self, our spirit.

I beg of you to try and listen.

Try to look inward for answers.

Don't depend on others for answers. The answers are within yourself. Trust yourself; trust your inner spirit.

Every single one of us is a beautiful spirit.

Let your spirit soar and let is soar high.

For if you truely want to glorify yourself in the eyes of all that is wonderful you will live happy and positively.

You will have faith in yourself. Your true self, not your human self, but your spiritual self.

We are all a spirit of light and are capable of the same bright intensity.

Our spirits live on forever.

However due to our human influences we can and often do soil that spirit. The bible is a frequent source of this problem.

In arrogance many proclaim the bible is the truth and they feel a need to impose their beleif of this perceived truth on others.

This is a grave error. In doing this the person arrogantly assumes the bible is without error.

I suggest such persons read the last few verses of the bible where there is a warning to all who add to or take away from the bible.

That warning would not be there if the bible was without error!

This does not dismiss the bible. The largest message of the bible is to love your fellow human family member. This message is of extreme importance. This is a positive message; one which is surely proclaimed by all that is wonderful.

It is not our place to judge. Even if you read it in the bible and feel it clearly states a fact, you can - not - know - , if that is a part which was added or altered!

You must take such verses with a grain of salt or you risk the pureness of your own spirit!

Remember those last few verses of the bible. Remember the warning!

If there are any "issues" within a persons spirit these issues will be graciously, I repeat GRACIOUSLY, corrected after we pass on.

Again it is not our job to judge others, even if we do so with what we think is correct and true!

I shouldn't have to mention this but I'm sure someone who wishes to place doubt would say "we can't let murderers continue to wander the streets".

Of course we can not allow criminals to continue their crimes. This is common sense. I am not suggesting we cast aside common sense.

If you are making such a comparison than you are not hearing what I'm saying. You may be listening, but you are not hearing!

With love of our self and love of our fellow human family member we can assist in uplifting our spirits.

This is our objective and goal.

Remember all of our spirits are intertwined. We are all one!

Finally I say to you celebrate Christmas all year, every year and every day of the year.

It seems our spirits come forth more easily during this time. Make everyday Christmas day!

Again I say, let your spirit soar high and let it soar every day of every year.

Love, Light and Rainbows to all.

Let There Be Peace on Earth
