ELMIRA--The lawyer for the protesters says they have the right to express their religious beliefs. But they say that right was taken away from them at June's gay pride event. No one was arrested. But the protester's attorney says police told not to hold signs or pass out literature on Christianity. He says one of the protesters was also told to take off a shirt with the words "liberated by the blood of Jesus."

These are the same protesters that were found guilty of disrupting a gay pride event last year. That ruling has been appealed by the protestors. But no ruling has been made yet.
